About this opportunity
The Ingram Scholars Program combines substantial merit funding with an intensive commitment to civic-minded service. Scholars build sustained community partnerships, design and implement service projects, and develop an immersive summer service experience while studying at Vanderbilt University. International first-year applicants are eligible for Vanderbilt merit scholarships, and Ingram finalists complete an interview as part of the selection process.
Who can apply
Open to prospective first-year Vanderbilt applicants, including international students. Ingram Scholars are selected for civic-minded service, entrepreneurial spirit, personal character and leadership potential. YourRoute represents first-year applicants completing secondary school as ages 17–18.
What you'll need to apply
First submit the Vanderbilt first-year admission application. After receiving MyAppVU access, complete the Ingram Scholars Program application through the Scholarship Application section by the deadline. The scholarship committee reviews the Ingram application together with the full admission application, and finalists must complete an interview.

Cost: Paid
US$50 Vanderbilt first-year admission application fee; qualified students may receive a fee waiver. The Ingram scholarship application itself is submitted through MyAppVU after the admission application.
