About YourRoute
YourRoute exists because the best opportunities for teenagers are scattered across university pages, PDF flyers, embassy notices and social media posts. We collect them, check them against the official source, and make them searchable by the things that decide whether you can actually apply.
What we list
Competitions, research and summer programs, scholarships, fellowships, olympiads, hackathons, conferences, and leadership or entrepreneurship initiatives — anything open to students roughly aged 14 to 18, whether it runs in Jeddah, elsewhere in Saudi Arabia, or internationally.
How verification works
- Every listing stores the official organiser URL and, where it exists, a direct application link. Those links are shown prominently on the detail page.
- Each record carries a verification status — verified, unverified, needs review, or broken link — plus the date it was last checked.
- Deadlines are evaluated on every page load. An opportunity whose deadline has passed is withheld from public listings immediately, regardless of when the nightly expiry job last ran.
- Anyone can report a broken link, wrong deadline or outdated eligibility rule from the opportunity page. Reports go straight to the review queue.
Privacy
We measure which opportunities get viewed and clicked so we can improve the catalogue. That measurement uses a rotating, non-identifying session id held in your browser for a few hours. We do not collect names, precise locations, or advertising identifiers, and we never sell data.
Always check the source
We work hard to keep listings accurate, but organisers change dates and rules without notice. Treat YourRoute as a discovery layer: confirm every detail on the official page before you apply.
