Stardance 2026

Offered by Hack Club

A free Hack Club STEM program for teens aged 13–18 to build and ship open-source technical projects, log their work, earn prizes, and develop practical coding and maker skills.

About this opportunity

Stardance is Hack Club’s 2026 summer STEM program for teenagers worldwide. Participants can create websites, games, apps, hardware, or other open-source technical projects, document their progress, and earn rewards based on completed work rather than competing for a single winner. No prior experience is required, and guides plus Hack Club’s teen community help participants get started. Students who meet the program’s requirements can also earn a verifiable Stardance certificate.

Who can apply

Participants must be high-school students aged 13–18. Hack Club states that its programs are open to teens worldwide. Stardance technical projects must be open-source.

What you'll need to apply

Sign up for Stardance, create technical projects, log project work, document progress, and ship completed projects through the Stardance platform. Requirements for specific rewards vary.
