Purple Comet! Math Meet 2027

The Purple Comet! Math Meet is an annual international mathematics competition conducted online. High-school teams of one to six students work collaboratively on 30 problems during a 90-minute competition window. Teams may include students from the same school or mixed-school/home-school groups, and team members do not have to be in the same geographic location.

High-school competitive teams are open to students anywhere in the world who have not graduated from secondary school and are under age 20 on the competition date. YourRoute highlights the 14–18 target-age portion. Teams may have 1–6 students and require an adult supervisor age 21 or older.

An adult supervisor registers the team online, adds team members, and starts the official contest clock during the competition window. Each team needs access to an internet-connected computer.
