The Paradigm Challenge 2027 — Division 3 (Ages 14–18)

Offered by Project Paradigm

A free international innovation challenge for ages 14–18 to propose creative solutions to real-life problems, with major cash prizes and early-entry feedback.

About this opportunity

The Paradigm Challenge invites students to identify a real-life problem and submit an original idea for solving it. Division 3 is specifically for ages 14–18, and entries may be individual or team-based with no minimum or maximum team size. Entries submitted more than 30 days early can receive Project Paradigm feedback and be revised. The competition offers substantial cash awards, including a $100,000 Grand Prize, and first-place teams receive a funded Los Angeles prize-ceremony trip.

Division 3 is for ages 14–18. Individual and team entries are allowed. Parent/legal-guardian permission is required for minors. The challenge is international but excludes residents of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, Crimea and other U.S.-sanctioned jurisdictions; Saudi Arabia is not listed among the exclusions.
