About this opportunity

The National Space Society’s Gerard K. O’Neill Space Settlement Contest invites students to imagine permanent human communities in free space. Entries may be technical designs, original research, essays, stories, physical or digital models, artwork, or combinations of these approaches, making the contest unusually flexible across STEM and creative disciplines.

Who can apply

Open worldwide to students through Grade 12. Students may enter individually or in teams.
