Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship 2027

The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship supports approximately 37 outstanding international students each year for four years of undergraduate study at the University of Toronto. Candidates must first be nominated by their secondary school, apply for admission to the university, and then complete a private scholarship application. The award covers tuition, books, incidental fees and full residence support, making it one of the university’s most comprehensive international merit awards.

Applicants must be international students requiring a Canadian study permit, be enrolled in their final year of senior secondary school in 2026–2027 or have graduated no earlier than June 2026, and begin undergraduate study at the University of Toronto in September 2027. YourRoute represents final-year secondary students as ages 17–18.

The student must be nominated by their current secondary school; each school may nominate only one student. The nominee must apply to at least one University of Toronto undergraduate program. After nomination and admission application, the student receives a private link to complete the Pearson Scholarship application and required documentation.
