About this opportunity
The 18th International Tournament of Young Mathematicians is a research-style mathematics team competition. Problems are published months in advance and may include parts with no known solution. During tournament rounds, teams present and critique solutions through Reporter, Opponent, Reviewer, and Observer roles. The 2027 tournament runs January 24–31 in Tsaghkadzor, Armenia, with online participation available for teams unable to travel.
Who can apply
Open to teams of 4–6 high-school students or first-year undergraduate students from around the world, guided by one or two adult team leaders. YourRoute displays the high-school target slice.
What you'll need to apply
Form a team of 4–6 students, secure one or two team leaders, complete the official registration form, send it to the organizer, pay the relevant participation fee after acceptance, and prepare solutions to the published problems.

Cost: Paid
Online participation: €60 per person. In-person participation in Tsaghkadzor, Armenia: €370 per person, including accommodation, meals, excursion, event materials, medals and prizes.
