The Harvard Crimson Global Quiz Bowl 2026

The Harvard Crimson Global Quiz Bowl is a partnered offering of The Harvard Crimson and AlgoEd. High-school teams compete in subject categories including mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, and economics & business. The preliminary round is a proctored online test, followed by live rapid-fire global semi-finals and finals on Zoom. Students may enter one or multiple categories and all participants receive certificates and scores.

High-school category: grades 9–12. Teams consist of 2–5 students from the same school; multi-school exceptions may be requested. The preliminary round is explicitly open to registered teams worldwide.

Choose one or more eligible high-school quiz categories and register a 2–5 student team through the competition portal. Each student completes the preliminary test individually; the top two team scores determine the team result. A two-camera online proctoring setup is required unless an approved teacher-proctoring alternative is granted.
