Climate Leaders Fellowship — Fall 2026
Offered by Rustic Pathways Foundation
An eight-week global online leadership fellowship for high-school students aged 14–18 who want to design and carry out a measurable climate-action project in their own community.
About this opportunity
The Climate Leaders Fellowship is an eight-week online leadership program operated by Rustic Pathways and the Rustic Pathways Foundation in collaboration with the Stanford University Deliberative Democracy Lab. Students join an international cohort, identify a local climate or environmental challenge, design an action project, engage members of their community, and document the project’s impact. Weekly virtual sessions, facilitator support, mentorship, and peer feedback help students turn an idea into a completed community initiative, with graduates receiving recognition for their participation and impact.
Who can apply
Applicants must be high-school students aged 14–18. The program is available globally with no geographic restrictions. Participants need a computer or device with reliable internet access, conversational English proficiency, and availability for the eight-week program. No prior climate experience is required.
