Canadian Team Mathematics Contest 2027

A team mathematics competition for Grades 9–12 that international schools can host locally.

About this opportunity

The Canadian Team Mathematics Contest (CTMC) combines individual, team and relay mathematics events. Teams consist of six secondary-school students in any combination of Grades 9–12. Schools outside North and South America can host the event at their own school.

Who can apply

Teams consist of six secondary-school students in any combination of Grades 9–12, mapped to ages 14–18. International schools may host the in-school event.

What you'll need to apply

A school registers for the in-school event, downloads the contest materials through the Contest Supervisor Portal and administers the individual, team and relay events locally.

Cost & funding

Cost: Paid

For the international in-school format, CAD $50 covers as many teams of six as desired at one registered school, plus a CAD $5 processing fee.

Funding: No funding
