About this opportunity
Bezos Scholars is a yearlong leadership experience that pairs selected high-school juniors with educator mentors. Scholars join a national cohort, attend a fully funded gathering in Aspen and design and lead a Community Change Project in their own communities with continued mentorship and support.
Who can apply
Applicants must be high-school juniors attending an eligible U.S. public high school that meets the program’s economic-need criteria, have at least a 3.0 unweighted GPA, and have taken or be enrolled in at least one advanced course. Students must nominate an educator mentor and commit to the full yearlong program.

Online student application plus educator nomination. Applicants should verify that their public high school meets one of the program’s qualifying economic-need criteria and is not on the current ineligible-school list.
