ASSIST Scholars 2027–2028

ASSIST Scholars connects outstanding international secondary-school students with member independent schools in the United States for a transformative academic year. Applicants from countries where ASSIST has no local office, including Saudi Arabia, can apply through the All Other Countries route. Scholarship levels substantially reduce school tuition, and selected scholars receive placement support, cultural preparation, orientation, and access to ASSIST’s global alumni community.

Applicants through the All Other Countries route may apply internationally. ASSIST primarily seeks students for U.S. Grades 10 and 11, with limited Grade 12 opportunities; YourRoute represents these grades as ages 15–18. Applicants must be prepared for a one-year placement at an ASSIST member school in the United States.

Complete the ASSIST online application and submit an academic transcript, three teacher recommendations, informal photos, a short personal introduction video, and a parent or guardian statement. Selected Scholarship Finalists complete a virtual interview; applicants whose first language is not English may also be asked to complete the Duolingo English Test.
