About this opportunity
Aspirnaut places high-school interns in Vanderbilt University Medical Center research laboratories for six weeks. Students contribute to active biomedical research teams, conduct their own research, and finish with oral and poster presentations. The program also includes college preparation, career planning and ongoing mentorship.
Who can apply
High-school students must be at least 15 by the start of the program, show strong preparation and commitment to STEM, and maintain health insurance during the program. International high-school students may apply but Aspirnaut cannot sponsor visas.
What you'll need to apply
Student-completed online application, current official transcript submitted by a school official, two recommendation letters including one from a STEM instructor, and health-insurance documentation if selected.
